Colorado Springs Trip
For a weekend getaway Jay, Jaelyn and I headed down to Colorado Springs. We stayed overnight at a hotel, went swimming, hung out and had the best time together. It was Jaelyn's first time swimming, and she loved it! Here she is 5 months old!

Dad and Jaelyn taking a break to eat, relax and watch the peacocks! We had been there about 5 minutes when she decided she was hungry...isn't that how it always works!
Jason, Jaelyn and I headed south to Colorado Springs to visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It was a beautiful and warm day out, and what better way to spend it than with my family, outside and looking at all the animals. The highlight of the trip was the new Colorado exhibit, and feeding the giraffes! If you have never been, it is worth it just to feed them as you can see from our photos! I am not sure who had more fun...mom and dad or Jaelyn?

Yummy...
I know we are biased since we are her parents...but we think she is sooooo "yummy" and delicious!! "Jaelyn Grace...you are so yummy!", was the first thing out of my sister's mouth when she was born.
We love our little muffin:)
Jaelyn at our family's birthday party celebration! Here she is helping Aunt Tracy open up her present!

Mmmmmmm!
Jaelyn tried rice ceral for the first time this past week, and has she made dinner time a lot more entertaining. She is 5 months old, and so we thought it was time to finally start introducing her to the finer tastes in life...you know pureed squash, rice cereal, peas!!! The first couple of times she spit it out, but now she is eating some of it (I think?!) and blowing rasberries all over the place. Butternut sqaush seems to also be a favorite, and I am enjoying making the baby food!
