Hiking In WYO

Jaelyn's First Hiking Trip
So we finally got the backpack out, loaded Jaelyn and Murphy up and headed up to the mountains. We went on a hike in a beautiful canyon with our friends from Fort Collins; Scott and Scotti. It was chilly out, but sunny! Jaelyn loved the backpack and it was nice to be with the whole family outside!

Baby Bump

18 Weeks
So I am definitely starting to look pregnant. I never want to post pictures until I have gotten out of the "chubby" feeling stage and actually have a baby bump. (Actually to be honest, I already feel 'big.") Jason's nickname for this little one is "Chili Bean." So we find out if Chili Bean is a boy or girl on Feb. 23rd! We are so excited to find out and decorate another babies room. Look for more posts from our "growing" family:)

Breakfast of Champions

Jaelyn is getting more and more independent daily. She has decided that she NO longer needs me to feed her breakfast, so I have had to be creative in what I give her. I found these little cups that I fill with yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, etc. and then give her a little spoon and she is in heaven.

Our New House

Sheridan, WY
Here are pictures of the Ruybal Family Home.
There are current pictures...the ones with snow, boxes, and things "everywhere", as well as pictures from the fall when we first decided to buy this house! We love this house for the space and that it is a ranch. We have 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The backyard has 2 decks, so we cannot wait for summer to enjoy our nice big backyard with a great view. Jaelyn has her own playroom ( I will post pics of it next time), and if I didn't say it already...we LOVE how much space there is to relax, play and crawl/walk around in! Hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as we enjoy our new home!
Our home with lots of snow.

These Boots are Made For Walking...

Jaelyn Grace Walking

If you hadn't heard yet...Jaelyn broke her leg (a buckle break) in two places the beginning of December. She was in her black walking cast for about 3 weeks and I wasn't sure if she would be on track for walking or if we would have to do physical therapy. Well she proved us wrong with her determination and strong will! She took her first steps right before Christmas and was walking on January 5th! So, 15 months old and our little girl is walking and busy as ever. Toddlers learning how to walk have to be one of the cutest things to watch. We are so proud of her! Go Jaelyn...now we just have to get the boots on and work on her two-step!

Christmas 2010

Jaelyn's 2nd Christmas
2010
We spent part of the time at my parents house in Aurora, CO, and the other part with Jason's family in La Jara, CO. This year Christmas was calm and relaxing, but Jaelyn still had a blast and received some very nice gifts.

My Beautiful Sister

Tracy Michele Kropp
March 3, 1980-December 16, 2010
I was so blessed to have such an amazing and beautiful younger sister in my life. She was the most wonderful and giddy 'Aunt T' about her niece Jaelyn, and she loved her so much. She was my best friend and she is and will be dearly missed forever. Here are a few pictures of Tracy
We love and miss you so much!
