We still know how to have fun...20's style!

The Roaring Twenties

Jason and I went to a murder mystery roaring 20's party, and we had such a wonderful time. We try and go out on a date night at least once a month, but it is the usual dinner, movie, play or once in awhile a concert. So, when we got a chance to dress up, eat amazing food, drink great drinks, and be around our friends.... we were really, really excited! Or, at least I was Really, Really excited!
We had a great time, and I loved going back in time to the "Roaring Twenties!" I thought Jason, aka "Hal Sapone," made a great gangster, and I, aka "Mable Sapone," made a great up and coming actress!
CHEERS!

Snow, snow, snow!

Let it snow!
We love the snow, but we really hadn't got any until these last couple of days in January! The weatherman predicted a couple of days of 1-3 inches, and instead we got a couple of days of 6-12 inches! It snowed, and snowed and snowed! So what to do....go outside of course! One thing about living where it is cold, and we do get quite a bit of snow, is that our girls love being outside and it takes awhile before they get really cold!
Jaelyn even dresses "up" for the occasion. That girl does not go anywhere without a dress, skirt or tutu on! Snow days are NO exception. She put all the important snow gear on, and then added the perfect touch... a frilly, green, tutu skirt.
Elliana on the other hand was not as enthusiastic about accessories, and thus did not want to leave her mittens on. So, that is why she has my gloves on over her mittens. It was a successful attempt to keep her hands warm, and it worked! She loved being outside, but was ready for hot chocolate when we came back inside...after swinging, raking, and playing in all that snow!
Murphy, well Murphy just wants to be where we are. So he is always along for the ride!

Strike a pose!

Jaelyn is getting more animated and dramatic the older she gets! Here she is striking a pose, showing her "grumpy face", and her "happy face!" Elliana just loves to smile and be cute! We love them both so much!!!

Bowling anyone? The Whole Family!!!

First Time Bowling with Jaelyn and Elliana
Jason was on vacation time, so we were constantly looking for family things to do together! Bowling.... neither one of the girls had ever gone bowling. They both loved it, and of course Jaelyn wanted to do it, "All by myself! I don't need any help!" Both of the girls needed help with the ball no matter how strong Jaelyn thought she was:) They would clap, and jump up and down as their ball rolled towards their pins trying to guess how many would be knocked down!?! They had about 2 minutes each time they took a turn because the ball rolled so slowly down the lane that it was very exciting and EVERY TIME!!!
