The Loudest Gifts Always Come From Grandparents!

So my mom thought it was a great idea to get Jaelyn "squeaky" shoes to help her learn how to jump! I have to admit that I was with her when she bought these and they are SUPER CUTE!! However, they are also SUPER ANNOYING!! The most important thing though is that Jaelyn absolutely loves her new squeaky shoes! So watch, and make sure to have your volume on so you can listen too!

The Pink Potty

So, I won't put all the pictures on here so as to not embarrass Jaelyn too much! BUT I am so proud of our little girl getting potty trained! She turned 26 months and started asking to "go" in her potty....Now, it has been a month that she has been using the "big girl potty!" She has all of the "very cute" panties that she loves wearing, and is not even needing a diaper at nap time! She even wakes up in the morning with a dry diaper, so I have a feeling that she will be completely out of diapers here next month! Way to go Jaelyn on getting potty trained! Her pink potty and basket of books!

A Ruybal Family Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011

We stayed home for Christmas, and it was so nice and relaxing. Grandma came up to spend it with our family (my mom), and we had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas and the birth our Saviour. It was Elliana's first Christmas, she is almost 6 months. This was the Christmas that I think Jaelyn will remember, she is 2!

Jaelyn's note to Santa! He ate 2 cookies and drank the entire glass of milk!

Elliana and Daddy Christmas morning!.

Our little "Elf" girls in matching jammies!

Elliana is a bundle of smiles and joy!

A Purple Cake

For the last month Jaelyn has been talking about "A Purple Cake!" That is what she wanted for Christmas from Santa Claus. She went and visited Santa and told him about the "Purple Cake!" She told grandparents, friends, and strangers about her "Purple Cake!" Everyone thought it was the sweetest thing ever! So, as Christmas morning arrived, we all anxiously awoke to see what Santa had brought Jaelyn for Christmas! As I thought he would...Santa came through with amazing delivery and creativity I must say. There, laying under the tree was the purplest cake that I have ever seen finished with white sprinkles and stars decorating the top of the cake. Even the inside of the cake was purple!

Jaelyn was so excited she jumped up and down shouting, "Purple cake, purple cake! Yeah!!" She looked at her cake from Santa, admired the white stars and sprinkles, and then stuck her finger in the frosting tasting it over and over. It truly was the sweetest thing ever!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

As we are getting ready for our first Christmas in Sheridan, WY, we decided to go all out and decorate the outside as well as the inside of the house. Also, Jaelyn is very excited about Christmas this year, so it made it even more fun to put lights up and decorate the tree. She loved the deer we put outside and even named them! (We have "little elk and meatball!") Her other favorite part was the ornaments. She helped unwrap them all, hang them on the tree and still continues to take them on and off as the weeks go on! We are really looking forward to Christmas at our house this year!

Jaelyn and Elliana

Daddy, the girls and DINNER!

Jason went out and got his final deer, and the girls were so excited! Jaelyn says, "Daddy meat, daddy meat!"

Elliana 5 Months

Elliana is 5 months!

How fast the time is going with our little, baby girl! It is just as fun, if not more, watching your second child grow, learn and take in the world each and every day! Observing Elliana has brought back many memories of Jaelyn at this age. It has reminded me that with each moment in time there is something new to discover and amazing to see your child do. I thank God for every minute in raising these two incredible little girls!

At 5 months she...is demonstrating a sense of fashion...

eating almost all of the "orange and yellow" fruits and vegetables...

rolling over....

has kept her baby blues...

sitting up with support...

growing more hair...

finding her sweet voice and letting everyone know she is in the room...

smiling and laughing all the time....

looking like an old toothless man with no teeth...

loves to eat her toes....

can be shy...

discovers the world with her hands....

she is truly the sweetest baby...

WE love you Elliana!
