Father's Day Fishing and Ribs

Father's Day 2011

We celebrated Jay, a wonderful father and daddy to Jaelyn and soon to arrive baby girl! The day included fishing, hiking, and a delicious BBQ dinner of ribs, corn, beans, cornbread, fruit and ice cream! Jaelyn loves ribs (meat on a stick) just like her daddy! Two peas in a pod:)

Fishing in Bighorn National Forest

This is the forest that Jason is now working for, so we are having fun getting out and exploring the great outdoors! Since it was Father's Day, fishing seemed like the perfect activity to get outside and spend time as a family!

Great catch!

Jason kept trying to get Jaelyn to touch a fish and needless to say she didn't want anything to do with it until the end and then she finally would touch the fish and laugh:O

Even I got a little fishing action at 9 months pregnant!

A beautiful day with the family celebrating Father's Day!

Daddy and Daughter Swim Lessons

Swim Lessons

June 2011

Jason and Jaelyn took swim lessons together at the YMCA! Jaelyn learned to wait on the side of the pool before she can jump in, blow bubbles, put her head under water, swim after floaty toys, and jump off the board into the water. They had so much fun playing and splashing together!

Ready, set jump...

Yeah!

Flipper time!

Ring-a-round-the-Rosie...a perfect ending to a perfect swim lesson!

38 weeks...

So, here I am...still prego! I actually am feeling pretty good and I feel blessed that I have had an overall easy pregnancy! I am just trying to enjoy my final weeks with Jaelyn and loving every minute with her. We pray for a smooth delivery and a healthy baby girl! We'll keep you posted...

Chef Jaelyn

Jaelyn is becoming my little helper in the kitchen. Grandma got her an apron, oven mitt and chef hat and she loves it! To be honest she is much better at the "eating" part then at the "cooking" part! I just love having her around and teaching her about cooking:)

CHEEEEEEEESE! After she helps me cook, she does a great job eating and making a huge mess!

Oh, John Deer...

Jason and the Tractor

So we finally are mowing (Or Jason is mowing), now that it has stopped raining and the sunshine is out! He loves his tractor and it seems that everyone here in WYO has one...so we are with the "in" crowd for once:) Everything is so green, lush and beautiful here in Sheridan right now. We have a gorgeous yard with so many bushes, perennials, flowers, shrubs, and trees that I know what to do with. I was surprised to find that strawberries grow abundantly in our flower beds, but so do the bunnies! I am still trying to learn what is what and how to take care of everything. Nevertheless, it is beautiful and we love it! In a couple of weeks everything should be in full bloom and I'll take some more photos!

Butterflies and Jungle Animals

The Girls Rooms

Below are pictures of Elli's room and Jaelyn's room. Elli's room we did in a jungle animal theme with lavendar, yellow, white and pink! She has the smallest room in the house, so we couldn't fit a lot in there, but it is perfect for a babies room! I even took on to sewing animal pictures and framing them! Jaelyn's room we kept the same as the old house with a butterfly theme in pink, lime green and rasberry! Both turned out super cute and we love them both!
