Jaelyn's Dedication

Jaelyn Grace was dedicated at Timberline Church

January 16, 2010

Pastor Marc Bullion

We had Jaelyn dedicated at our home church; Timberline. It was a beautiful ceremony where we celebrated with friends and family!

This cake is from a bakery called Indulge in Boulder...and it was beautiful, decident and delicious!

Jaelyn was exhausted from the day...but still adorable!

We dedicated her with four other babies...

Nate, Liz and Silas; The Ruybal's, Dan, Elizabeth and Dillan; Joel, Melinda and Chase: Ted, Mica and Rhaya

Pastor Marc is on the far left!

Here Pastor Marc is giving all of the couples flowers and blessing the babies and annoiting their heads with oil. The red carnation stands for the strenth and leadership of the father, the white carnation stands for the purity and love of the mother, and the red rose bud stands for the baby, and the growth that is going to take place for them!

Here Jay is telling the story of how we picked the name "Jaelyn Grace".

We were driving and going through a baby book when I was 5 months pregnant and we came to the letter "J" and found Jaelyn, and we both instantly fell in love with the name. The "Grace" for the middle name came about when we found out I was pregnat, and Jay said, "If it is a girl, I want to name her middle name "Grace" because it was by God's grace that we conceived her!!"
