Ok, so it wasn't exactly a "baby moon", but nonetheless we had a great trip! Jaelyn, Jay and I headed to the Black Hills/Rapid City, SD for a Memorial Weekend getaway. We had cloudy weather, and one day it rained the entire day! Our first stop was the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore which was beautiful and breath-taking! We then headed into Rapid City where there is a ton to do, lots of restaurants and some decent shopping!

This guy at the park caught a fish, and Jaelyn was very curious! She is obviously going to take after her Dad when it comes to fishing...loves it!
Reptile GardensThis was our rainy day where it rained non-stop all day...but that didn't stop us from trying to enjoy our trip!
We went to the alligator and crocodile show and at the end they let people pet an alligator. Jaelyn was soooooo excited to touch it until she got up there and wouldn't have anything to do with it!
The snake show had the same ending...wanting to touch this huge albino python until it came to be her turn!
We wore her out! Jaelyn you are a trooper and we had so much fun with you. Next trip...our family of four!
