Welcome Elliana Faith Tracy

Elliana Faith Tracy

Monday, June 27th at 5:34 a.m.

She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20 in. long!

Our newest addition has arrived! I went into labor late Sunday night at 39 weeks pregnant and my water broke soon afterwards at midnight. We got Jaelyn dropped off at a friends house and headed to the hospital. My contractions were already very close together (about 2-3 minutes) and I was dialating fast. I got my epidural around 3 a.m., but my body rejected it and I was already dialated to 8 cm so the nurse advised that I prepare for natural child birth. I was very nervous at first, but Jason and my nurse were amazing support, and with prayer I did it! Our midwife arrived at about 5:20 a.m., I pushed for about 8 minutes, and Elliana arrived at 5:34 a.m. She is beautiful, healthy and we are so blessed and thankful to have her here!

39 weeks!

This is before I found out that I was doing "natural childbirth."

Dadddy to be!

Our sweet arrival. She had the pinkest eyes and mouth and pale skin at first!

Welcome sweet Elli!

Proud Daddy!

Grandma and Elli!

Jaelyn in her "Big Sister" t-shirt getting to meet Elli. She instantly ran into the bathroom and into the shower! She is not too sure of her little sister!

Jaelyn opening her special bag of goodies!

Still "not sure" of her little sister:0

A quick kiss...smooch!

Our family!

Sweet little Elli! (She looks so much different than Jaelyn did at birth. Her skin and hair are much lighter, she has blue eyes (for now), and she has about a fourth of the hair that Jaelyn did!) It is going to be so much fun watching the two girls grow and change together!

My two girls!
